Privacy & data
Every number belongs to the person it was taken from.
This notice explains what we collect, why, who can see it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to change or delete it. It applies to every Alpha-Gen service and to this website.

Who we are
Alpha-Gen Performance Lab is an independent performance coaching and consulting practice based in Panama City, Panamá, founded and run by Tracy Cui. For anything in this notice, write to hello@alphagenperformancelab.com.
What we are not
We are not a medical service, a clinic, or a provider of therapy or psychological treatment. Nothing we measure is a diagnosis. When something needs a doctor, a registered dietitian or a psychologist, we stop, tell you, and refer you to one.
What we collect
Only what a service needs, and only after you have agreed to it in writing.
- To talk to you: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and what you tell us on a discovery call.
- Young athletes (with a parent's consent): name and date of birth; height, sitting height and weight, used to estimate growth stage; movement-screen results; training, sleep and recovery logs kept by the family or athlete; questionnaire answers; and notes from our conversations with the athlete.
- Adults: the same kinds of information about you, plus — only if you choose to connect one — data from a wearable device or training platform you authorize.
- Organizations: the same information about each participating individual, held by us. The employer or organization receives aggregate findings only.
Exactly which measurements a service involves is listed in the consent form you sign before it starts, item by item. You can decline any item.
Why we collect it
To deliver the service you asked for, to prepare your reports, to keep the record that lets us see change over time, and to contact you about your service. Nothing we collect is used to select, rank or compare children, sold to anyone, or used for advertising.
Children and young athletes
A parent or legal guardian consents in writing before we work with anyone under eighteen. The athlete is also asked, in language for their age, and can say no. What an athlete tells us falls into three tiers:
- PrivateWhat the athlete says about themselves, their doubts, and other people stays between the athlete and us. Parents may hear a theme when it matters — never the transcript.
- Shared with the athlete's OKGoals, commitments, training preferences and strengths, shared with parents and coaches when the athlete agrees.
- Always sharedAnything that puts the athlete's safety at risk — pain, injury, food or mood that worries us — is told to the parent, always, and first.
Results are never used for squad selection, de-selection or public ranking, and we do not provide them to clubs or schools for that purpose.
Organizations and employers
When a company, club or school pays for a program, individual data never returns to it. Reports to the organization are aggregate only, produced only when the group is large enough that no one can be identified, and this is written into the contract. Each participant receives their own information privately.
Who can see your information
Tracy Cui, and any assistant working under a written confidentiality agreement, for the purpose of delivering your service. When we refer you to a doctor, dietitian or psychologist, we share only what you agree to share — except where your safety, or a child's, requires otherwise. We do not give your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your information is stored in the cloud services we use to run the practice (forms, a database, analysis and reporting tools), each with its own security measures. If you connect a wearable device or training platform, that provider's own privacy policy also applies to the data it holds.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a client, and for two years afterwards so that a returning athlete's record can continue — unless you ask us to delete it sooner. After that, it is deleted or anonymized. We use anonymized, non-identifiable information to improve the method; we use an identifiable case study or testimonial only with your separate, written agreement.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you or your child, correct it, receive a copy, withdraw a consent you have given, or have it deleted. Write to hello@alphagenperformancelab.com and we will answer within thirty days. These rights follow Panamá's personal data protection law (Law 81 of 2019) and any other law that applies to you.
This website
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign up for The Map or The Alpha-Gen Letter, we keep your email address to send them and nothing else. Form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, a form-handling service, and are not used for advertising; every message has an unsubscribe link.
Terms of service, in brief
- The services on this site are described in general terms. What a specific engagement includes, its fees, minimum term, payment schedule, pause and cancellation terms are set out in the service agreement you sign.
- We do not promise results — a podium, a finish, a promotion, a season without injury. We promise to read what the data and the person tell us, honestly, and to tell you what we see.
- You remain responsible for decisions about training, competition, food, medical care and education. We give information and recommendations; coaches, parents, athletes and clients decide.
- If you have a medical condition, an injury, or any concern about eating, weight or mood, tell us before we start, and see a qualified professional. We will refer you if we think you should.
- We may update this notice. The date at the top tells you when. Material changes are sent to current clients by email.
